 Welcome to My Art Blog! My name is Beca Reyes and I was a musician for 30 years until March of 2020. We all know what happened around that time so let's just move on. Sometime around 2015, I realized that my voice and hands wouldn't last forever so I started to think seriously about what I was going to do after I retired my music career. I didn't have to think long, as I've wanted to be a painter since I was a small child. I enrolled in an online art atelier, New Masters Academy, and I started to attend live drawing classes at our local Central School here in Bisbee, AZ.  Then it was today! I still play on occasion. Right now I have a small weekly lunch gig at the Morning Star Cafe in beautiful downtown Palominas, AZ. It's all I can handle now that I'm just starting to play music again and I AM going to retire music sometime in the near-ish future.
